The latest topics for September 2025 – April 2026 are here. And so is your updated study planner.
When I was preparing for IELTS, I used to study topic by topic. But honestly, I had no idea how much I’d done or how much was still left.
So I made a simple list for myself — just boxes for dates and checkmarks.
Super basic. Super helpful.
It’s just easier when you can see everything in one place:
✅ tick off what’s done
📅 see what’s left
That’s it.
Later, I shared it with my students.
Then with users of our app.
And now, every time new topics come out, people actually wait for the new planner.
So… We’ve just collected all the new IELTS Speaking topics for September 2025 – April 2026 and created a fresh study planner to help you stay organized and see your real progress at a glance.
What to learn
You’ll see two sets of topics inside:
Set 1: September 2025 – April 2026
These topics will definitely stay until December 2025. If your test is in September, October, November, or December 2025, these are the ones you must prepare. If you’re taking the test in January, February, March, or April 2026, things are a bit less certain. Normally, these topics stay until the end of April — that’s how it’s been for years. But lately, IELTS has sometimes updated topics earlier than expected, so there’s a small chance they might change in early January 2026. No one can say for sure what will happen, so the best thing you can do is prepare for these topics now. Even if they do change, you’ll still get valuable practice. You’ll build vocabulary, learn new ideas, and improve your fluency. And if IELTS simply adds new topics for January – August 2026, you’ll already have half of them covered.
Set 2: May – December 2025 — If your test is before January 2026, keep these too. If it’s later than that, skip them.
